SUEN participated as a project partner in the 8th Water4All Governing Board and Work Package meetings held in Naples, Italy on 17-19 November 2025. During the meetings, the activities carried out between November 2024 and November 2025 were comprehensively reviewed, and the roadmap for the project’s final phase was evaluated.

The Water4All Governing Board Meeting generated key strategic insights for assessing the partnership’s overall progress and guiding its forward-looking orientation. As part of the meeting, progress under the work packages was reviewed in detail, with particular emphasis on the coherence and cross-cutting impact of the deliverables, the robustness of the methodological framework, and the technical and operational requirements identified throughout implementation. Building on these discussions, the overarching framework for preparing Phase 3 of the project (2026–2031) was shaped, ensuring alignment with long-term impact pathways, and the strategic objectives of the Water4All Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).

In addition, a presentation delivered by European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation on the “EU Water Resilience Strategy” highlighted the strategy’s core objectives and the European Commission’s priorities for strengthening water resilience across the EU. The presentation emphasized that Water4All could act as a strategic enabler, creating meaningful synergies that would facilitate the implementation of the Strategy’s ambitions and enhance the overall impact of EU water policies.
