SUEN is pleased to announce the official launch of the new Türkiye Geographic Chapter under the International Water Resources Association (IWRA). This marks an important step toward strengthening regional and local collaboration in addressing water resources challenges and developing sustainable solutions.
By providing a dedicated platform, the IWRA Türkiye Chapter – to be coordinated by SUEN - will promote sustainable and integrated water management by combining technological innovation with environmental, ecological, and social perspectives.
The Chapter aims to build a strong national network of water professionals and institutions across Türkiye, while also opening pathways for regional collaboration, including with other Turkic countries. It will serve as a platform for exchanging scientific knowledge, promoting effective technologies and policies, and sharing practical solutions that support the sustainable use and management of water resources.
