As part of Expo 2025, one of the world’s largest commercial and cultural events held this year in Osaka, Japan between April and October 2025, a thematic event titled “Water, Health and Competitiveness” was organized by SUEN in cooperation with the World Water Council and EC Joint Research Center on 20 September 2025.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mr. Ebubekir Gizligider was among the opening speakers of the event, where topics such as ecofactories, circular economy and water use, the value of water, and its relationship with health were discussed within the framework of the “One Water, One Health”.
At the conclusion of the event, it was highlighted that water is not only about quantity or supply - it is about health, safety, and the strength of our societies.
