Funded jointly by European Commission and TÜBİTAK under “Waterworks 2015 ERA-NET CoFund”, AGRINUPES project aims to develop an integrated decision support tool to optimize agricultural input use to safeguard environment. AGRINUPES will utilize NPK sensors and integrate them into fertigation equipment, as well as low cost biosensors for pesticide detection, with demonstration of their use for practical management purpose at several European demo-sites including Konya, Turkey. For this project SUEN engages in partnership with 6 different institutions from 4 European countries including Holland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.

The project's coordination of the field work to be conducted in the closed basin of Konya in Turkey, Suen, Turkey partners; GZFT (SWOT) analysis of national and EU legislation related to water quality monitoring and public involvement; interpretation of work outputs; It will be involved in the delivery of the end-users and integration into the management mechanisms. The project consortium was created by the contributions of 8 different institutions from 5 countries (Portugal, Sweden, Holland, Spain and Turkey). The project started in April 2017 for 3 years.
