With the long-term vision of transforming water from a potential source of conflict into a potential instrument of cooperation and peace through concrete actions, the Blue Peace Middle East (BPME) initiative, is a structured and dynamic network of prominent institutions from partner countries in the region.
SUEN functioned as the Coordination Office of BPME between 2019-2022. As a key partner, SUEN currently implements the project on “Disseminating Knowledge to Improve Agricultural Water Use Efficiency”. As part of the project, reports including evaluation on the current status and strategic recommendations have been produced and capacity building activities to the benefit of region countries are organized.
